I am a mixed media and abstract Jordanian artist or “storyteller” born on September 26th, 1995. I find refuge in art as a means for self-reflection and liberation, and a career that values my individuality and tells my stories. My inspiration comes from the imaginary world I believed in as a child vs the world we live in today, experiences, dreams, music, people and travel. Each one of my artworks is a representation of the unseen aspects of my personality, thoughts and feelings, making every piece truly authentic, eccentric, and unique.
I graduated with honors from Royal Holloway, University of London, with a BSc in Management with Marketing. I studied visual arts in the International Baccalaureate program in high school and completed a one-month rigorous sight-size drawing course at the Florence Art Studio in Florence, Italy, in 2019. My passion for painting began from a very young age. I kicked-off my career as an artist in 2018 by launching a website (www.rawthenticart.com) and Instagram
@rawthentic.art in January 2019. Since, I’ve sold over sixteen artworks since, including commissions, painted murals, and volunteered to paint the walls of a pre-school at a refugee camp in Jordan. While I continue to evolve as an artist, I am currently working on the destination marketing of a cultural district in Amman, Jordan, to empower and elevate the art scene in Jordan. I am also working for Jordan’s national carrier, Royal Jordanian, to connect people with sponsorship opportunities and corporate social responsibility.
