Noora Kämppi (b. 1992, Finland) . I am a self-taught painter and entrepreneur, currently studying art history and education at University of Jyväskylä, Finland. I graduated as a hairdresser in 2011 and worked for a few years afterwards. In 2016 I graduated from Mikkeli University of Applied Sciences with a Bachelor’s Degree of Social Services. After a graduation I worked in the health sector and my love for painting only grew year by year.
After the passing of my father and having to learn to walk again after an accident in the same year of 2019, I decided to start my own company as an artist and I have not regretted that decision. Painting is my passion. My work history and life experiences are reflected in my art.
Through my paintings I bring out my “inner world”. Finnish Art Curator named Rigulio Graak described my work: “Noora’s abstract and figurative works tell the stories of the soul taking the viewer to the North Europe in almost mystic visual telling. From the deep and dark abstracts and figuratives the mystery of the soulful artist starts to enfold”. I have been writing stories, drawing and painting ever since I was a little girl - and the journey continues.
