Shaula Schaham is an Israeli born artist who initially pursued a successful career in interior design in the United States. Her designs included custom designed area carpets and decorative pillows, which were displayed in a furniture showroom in NYC.
In the last fifteen years upon her return to Israel, she has been a full-time artist. She indulges her fascination with texture and color in her mix media paintings, collages and recently with digital art. Her paintings reflect her love of color and her refined eye. She continues to grow in her practice, now adding illustrations on her I-pad. She took part in many exhibitions in Israel and Europe and just recently, her painting was used as a cover for an Italian art book "The Great Masters of Contemporary art". Shaula also won recently a second price for photography, two second prices for her poems and just this month a first prize for her poem. All these prizes were voted anonymously by artists members of WAG artists international organization.
