Bora Aydıntuğ is a Brooklyn based experimental visual artist from Istanbul. He creates art experimentally in order to evoke curiosity and self reflection in others. Originally an experimental filmmaker, Aydıntuğ focused on the intersection between art and technology during his graduate studies at Tisch School of the Arts, programming various generative drawing systems, designing interactions, and giving several video performances. He works with video, code and physical computing in order to try and get a better sense of the universe.
In one of his latest projects; Experiments in Expressive EEG (2020), the artist used his brainwaves and more importantly his efforts for inner navigation to create abstract digital paintings/drawings, through a visual program he coded.
