I have always felt creation as something instinctive, which can hardly be explained. I tend to think that the spirit of childhood, fertile, unconventional, free, has not disappeared however it has evolved and expresses through my painting.
I get my technical and theoretical learning from my course in architecture. Then I practiced the profession of architect and urban planner for several years before devoting myself to art.
My practice is necessarily influenced by this : composition of the space, landscapes, perspectives.
But I also detach myself from these notions in order to explore other fields, emotional, sensory, gestural, the creative impulse.
I like this duality between a constructed approach and a sensitive approach.
